"Recently we tried to navigate a complex practice acquisition to expand our business. Our shared goal with the seller was to design a fair deal for both sides and build a good working relationship moving forward.  Both our practice and the seller were motivated, but the sellers advocates and other advisors created challenges neither of us expected.
